Rah Rah Sis Boom Bah!

So MTV has finally given in to the cheerleading fanatics. Paula Abdul is hosting a show called RAH! Paula Abdul's Cheerleading Bowl. It is a competition between 5 university squads: University of Hawaii, University of Arizona, University of Montana, Miami University of Ohio, and University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. It is an interesting group of squads that represent the different styles of cheer found throughout the country.

First, the competition isn't your standard 2 minute 30 second competition. The cheerleaders have challenges that they must execute in cheerleading style in order to succeed. It's actually a pretty interesting idea. Second, it really isn't fair to make everyone compete against Hawaii. They are sick. I love their palm tree stunt - so cool.

Unfortunately, the combination of Paula Abdul and her normal craziness + an uneven playing field = an hour and a half of my life - wasted.
